Privacy
Your information, handled conservatively
Living and travelling abroad can be sensitive. Our default posture is to collect less, expose less and let you stay in control. This page summarises our principles; a full policy will accompany membership.
What we collect
We store only what's needed to provide the service — for example, the information you give when you join (name, email, destination of interest and interests) or when you ask a question. We don't ask for a large profile before you can read public destination information.
What stays private by default
Your email, phone, WhatsApp number, exact address, detailed itinerary and arrival or departure dates are not exposed publicly without your explicit choice. Public profiles show only approved fields, and Clique membership follows each Clique's visibility rules. We do not infer or publish your physical location from messaging activity, and we do not do hidden location tracking.
Questions and knowledge
When you ask a question, we may store it to build reusable knowledge that helps others — but we don't publish your email or personal details along with it.
Your controls
As the membership system matures, you'll be able to view, edit and delete your profile information and control what's visible to other members.
This summary is not legal advice and will be replaced by a complete privacy policy and terms as the platform develops.
